Apple iPhone was release by Apple last July 11 2008. A great device and a combination of a mobile phone, internet device and iPod. Apple iPhone already reached million unit in sale. Let us check iphone and its features.




Apple iPhone has the following features:


1. Mail- to send/recive mail. iPhone has preprovisioned email account included are Gmail, Yahoomail, MobileMe. And microsoft exchange is also compatible with iphone.


2. Youtube- allows you to watch movies and videos using your iphone over 3G or wifi connectio.


3. Maps- Find your location, get directions, and see traffic — all from your phone. Maps on iPhone 3G combines GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell tower location technology with the Multi-Touch interface to create the best mobile map application ever


4. iTunes Store- Buy music over the air from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPhone. Find a Wi-Fi hot spot and tap the iTunes button. Then take your pick from more than 6 million songs.


5. App Store- find applications in every category, from games to business, education to entertainment, finance to health and fitness, productivity to social networking. These applications have been designed to take advantage of iPhone features such as Multi-Touch, the accelerometer, wireless, and GPS. And some are even free. You can download them wirelessly and start using them right away.


6. Calendars- The built-in Calendar goes with you anywhere, works with a tap, and syncs seamlessly to the calendar on your computer.


7.Stocks, weather and notes- Get stock quotes and weather reports with a tap. Use Notes to jot down information you want to keep with you, remember for later, or share via email..

Down Side:


1. iPhone doesnt have MMS( multimedia messaging)


2. Camera resulotion is still 2.0 MP.


3. No SMS edit and forward.


4. Bluetooth will only work for a bluetooth headset.


5. No video streaming.


6. Safari doesnt support flash and java.


7. You need to have a pc to work with iphone.


8. Exchange server should work with imap.
